STEP 1
Eco or Standard?
Eco
Draws the flue’s cooling air from the roof cavity—or from outside when there is no cavity—instead of using warmed air from the room. It is designed to reduce room heat loss and help your space warm more efficiently.
Standard
Uses air from inside the room to cool the outer flue system. It is the simpler conventional option.

STEP 2
Coastal or Inland?
Coastal
Made entirely from 304 2B stainless steel for greater corrosion resistance in harsh coastal conditions.
Inland
Uses a combination of materials and is intended for less corrosive inland conditions.
The supplier does not give a fixed distance-from-the-sea rule. If you are unsure, give your property address to your installer or The Flue Shop and ask them to confirm which option you need.
STEP 3
Flat or sloping?
This choice is about the ceiling above the wood burner, not simply how the roof looks from outside.
Flat
The ceiling is level, usually with a roof cavity above it.
Sloping
The ceiling follows the roof angle, such as a raked or cathedral ceiling.
If the outside roof slopes but the ceiling inside is flat, choose Flat. Ask your installer if you are unsure.
